I am a firm believer in hiring a photographer to capture any event. Whether it's a bridal shower, engagement party, or sweet sixteen, someone (not the guest of honor!) should be there documenting everything the MOH or coordinator worked on for the last few months. It was a privilege and an honor to photograph one of my nearest and dearest at her "fall in love" themed bridal shower last month.
The shower took place at Ponte Vecchio in Old Bridge, NJ on a Sunday afternoon. All decor and coordination was handled by my dear friend and event-mastermind Danielle at Magnolia West Events. Although there were no pumpkins or orange leaves, her twist on a "fall in love" themed shower boasted deep reds and purples with cooper and gold accents.
Shower games are sometimes a little cheesy but a good time was had by all who guessed how old the bride and groom were in these photos. Danielle gathered pictures from the MOB and MOG during different times in their lives and the guests had to guess their ages. Let's just say I may or may not have been a winner in this game (even challenging the MOB with her answers).
The groom's sister and mother sprung for a wine and mimosa bar with all of the fixings from fresh fruit to sugary rock candy. Guess who loved the rock candy...
I thought it was fitting to post Kerry's shower today because the countdown is on! One month until the big wedding day at The American Hotel in Freehold, NJ! We cannot wait and are thrilled for the happy couple!
